Occupational Therapist - OT

• Department: Occupational Therapy - Outpatient Rehab Unit
• Schedule: Per Diem (as needed) days 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

• Facilitate Long-Term Functional Independence: Manage a diverse caseload in a community-based setting, focusing on upper extremity rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, and specialized activities of daily living (ADL) retraining.
• Build Meaningful Patient Relationships: Benefit from extended treatment plans that allow you to track patient progress over time and tailor interventions to their specific home and work environments.
• Utilize Specialized Clinical Space: Work in a dedicated outpatient therapy clinic equipped with modern rehabilitation tools, supporting your ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based manual therapy and splinting.

Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within scope of practice in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders.  Performs responsibilities in accordance with department and Hospital Policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519. Functions according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1.     Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy.

2.     Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license.

3.     Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.

4.     National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.
