Our client, Easterseals Crossroads, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Children’s Therapy Services team. What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide evaluation and ongoing therapy services to pediatric consumers in clinic, home, and community-based settings. You will partner closely with families and other professionals to support each child’s development and independence.
Key responsibilities include:- Conducting evaluations; developing treatment diagnoses, goals, and plans
- Providing direct OT interventions
- Collaborating with families on home programming and transition planning
- Fabricating or recommending adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Managing a clinical caseload and maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Communicating with service coordinators and stakeholders
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings, trainings, and professional development.
What They’re Looking For:- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Active Indiana OT license through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
- Pediatric and developmental disabilities experience preferred
- Ability to travel between work locations as required.
- Strong knowledge of typical and atypical child development
- Ability to plan, adapt, and modify environments and materials
- Experience using evidence-based interventions
- Effective communication with children, families, and professionals
- Strong organization and documentation skills
- Comfort working in active, hands-on therapy environments.
