About the Role:Nest Home Care LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Owings Mills, MD. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life — right in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients' functional abilities, daily living skills, and home environments to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services to home care patients across a variety of diagnoses and conditions
- Implement therapeutic interventions focused on improving ADLs, fine motor skills, cognitive function, and safety
- Recommend and train patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment and home modifications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to meet goals
Requirements:- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Maryland state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain)
- NBCOT certification required
- Home health or home care experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of ADL training, adaptive equipment, and home modification strategies
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for home visits in the Owings Mills, MD area
