Occupational Therapist School

Description:
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in a middle school setting for the 2026 2027 school year.

Previous school-based experience is required. Candidates must have an Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license in hand at the time of submission.

• Full-time position preferred.
• If a qualified full-time candidate is not available, two part-time on-site Occupational Therapists may be considered.
• Work collaboratively with a team of Occupational Therapists supporting students across the district.
• Provide services at the middle school level and collaborate with building-level teams.
• Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations to determine special education eligibility.
• Provide MTSS and IEP support to students.
• Consult with teachers, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support the generalization of students' skills across school settings.
• Collaborate with school teams to promote student success and participation.

• Active Illinois OT license required at the time of submission.
• Previous school-based Occupational Therapy experience required.
• Experience working with middle school students preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
