Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Position Type: Direct Placement
Salary range: $65561 - 108160/year
Location: Watertown, NY
Work Type: Onsite, Full Time – Monday-Friday

Job Responsibilities:
  • Occupational Therapist conducts patient assessments to determine their individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address a variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges in the adult hospital and acute rehabilitation unit (IRF) based patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for achieving optimal functional outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans
  • Responsible to float between Samaritan Medical Center and Samaritan Keep Home

Job Requirements:
  • BLS
  • Licensed as OT in the state of NY
  • 1 year of previous experience strongly preferred

  • Float to Samaritan Keep Home
