Responsibilities:- Assessing the client's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan. Assessing the home, school and work environments of the client.
- Recommending, implementing and educating the client and caregivers regarding necessary adaptive technology or equipment
- Helping children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances.
- Performing administrative tasks such as completing daily session notes, preparing progress reports as per program timelines, writing evaluation reports and making therapeutic telephone calls
- Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate and carry-over.
- Be able to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for ongoing treatment and facilitate goals and treatment plan for parents.
- Maintain the highest clinical and ethical standards in service provision.
Qualifications:- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid NJ state license and registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Prefer a minimum of 2-year experience with the pediatric population.
