We are currently seeking a Part-Time Receptionist / Admitting Clerk to serve as the friendly face of our facility and help create a positive experience for every patient, family member, and visitor who walks through our doors.

What You''ll Do

As a key member of our front-line team, you''ll often be the first person patients and visitors encounter. Your professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail will help set the tone for the entire OCOM experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and registering patients for inpatient, outpatient surgery, ER, pre-testing, and physical therapy visits
• Answering and directing phone calls, paging staff, and assisting with information requests
• Collecting co-pays and maintaining accurate payment records
• Entering and updating patient information accurately and efficiently
• Explaining facility policies, procedures, and patient information as needed
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and organized records
• Helping ensure the reception and lobby areas remain welcoming and professional
• Supporting patients, families, physicians, and staff with exceptional customer service

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintains a polished and professional demeanor
• Remains calm, organized, and friendly in a busy environment
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Possesses basic computer and typing skills
• Works well independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience:

• Customer service, receptionist, admissions, or healthcare experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
