Schedule: Part-Time, 25 Hours per Week
  • Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Join Our Team

Our client is seeking a highly organized and professional Office Administrator to oversee the daily administrative and office operations of a community-focused organization in Winston-Salem, NC. This position plays a vital role in supporting staff, board members, volunteers, community stakeholders, donors, clients, and visitors while ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the office.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Office Administrator will manage clerical, administrative, and office support functions while serving as a welcoming and professional point of contact for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily office operations and administrative activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and staff.
  • Answer phones, manage email communications, and greet visitors professionally.
  • Maintain office files, records, databases, and organizational documents.
  • Coordinate communications with staff, volunteers, board members, donors, and community partners.
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and support organizational events.
  • Perform data entry, prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot administrative and office-related issues and seek solutions as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek assistance or guidance.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office management tools and applications.
  • Strong customer service and professional relationship-building skills.
  • Previous experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, Receptionist, Executive Assistant, or similar administrative role preferred.
