    Job Description

Established pre-seed and seed venture firm is looking for an Office Coordinator to own the front desk of their San Francisco office. This is an incredible first step for a recent grad who wants to break into venture and build a career in executive support, with a real path to grow from reception to admin to Executive Assistant over time. In this role, you'll be the first face founders, investors, and guests see: welcoming visitors, owning reception, preparing conference rooms, helping with pitch meeting scheduling, and supporting office management and after-hours events. Someone who is warm, polished, and eager to learn, takes pride in making people feel welcome, and is excited to be in the room where early-stage startups get funded. This is an in-office role, 5 days/week, based in San Francisco's Mission Bay. Competitive hourly rate (about $36-48/hr DOE).

    Responsibilities:

    • Sit at the front desk and own reception for the SF office, greeting founders, investors, and guests with warmth and professionalism.
    • Make sure every visitor has a great experience, from check-in to getting them to the right meeting.
    • Prepare conference rooms for meetings and keep shared spaces looking polished and ready.
    • Help with pitch meeting scheduling to support the Executive Assistants and investment team.
    • Support day-to-day office management, including supplies, deliveries, vendors, and keeping the office running smoothly.
    • Help set up, run, and break down firm events, including some after-hours events.
    • Partner with the EAs and the operations team on projects as they come up, building new skills along the way.

    Qualifications:

    • Recent college graduate or 0-1 year of professional experience. Front desk, hospitality, campus jobs, internships, or event roles are all a plus.
    • Warm, polished, and welcoming presence with strong people skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proactive and eager to learn, with an instinct to jump in and help wherever needed.
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and no two days look the same.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Genuine interest in startups, venture capital, or growing a career toward an Executive Assistant role.
    • Available to be in the office 5 days/week and to support occasional after-hours events.
    • Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace and Slack, and quick to pick up new systems; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
*Please Note: Your application will be considered for all open positions. You do not need to apply for multiple roles.
