Job Description

Do you notice the missing detail, follow up before someone asks, and enjoy getting things organized and completed?

Central City Solutions is hiring an Office Manager to keep our Columbus office running smoothly, support financial administration, and help our team stay focused. We’re a real estate investment company looking for someone who brings strong administrative experience, comfort with financial details, and dependable follow-through.

You’ll work closely with a company partner and collaborate with our executive assistant, bookkeeper, and wider team. Your work will make a daily difference: accurate information, organized operations, clear communication, and fewer unfinished tasks.

What you’ll own

  • Office operations: Keep supplies, equipment, shared spaces, maintenance, and everyday office needs organized and handled.
  • Payroll and financial administration: Collect and verify payroll and commission information, support approved payment workflows, review expenses, and coordinate questions with the bookkeeper.
  • Vendors and paperwork: Track quotes, orders, invoices, renewals, and property-related documents, following through until items are resolved.
  • Mail and deliveries: Route important mail, coordinate shipping, and track orders and packages.
  • Team coordination: Support meetings, office events, lunches, delegated travel logistics, and administrative requests.
  • Onboarding and offboarding: Coordinate paperwork, workspace preparation, equipment, and approved access changes.
  • Better systems: Maintain checklists and process documentation, identify recurring problems, and recommend practical improvements.

Responsibilities will transfer in stages as you learn our workflows and demonstrate readiness.

What you bring

  • Experience in office management, administration, executive support, or a similar role.
  • Finance/payroll experience, with responsibility for accurate records, deadlines, and appropriate approvals.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills and comfort using shared calendars, documents, and digital systems.
  • Careful attention to numbers, names, dates, instructions, and supporting paperwork.
  • A reliable method for tracking commitments and following up without repeated reminders.
  • Clear, concise communication and sound judgment with confidential information.
  • The ability to work independently, learn new processes, and adjust priorities while keeping important commitments visible.

Real estate experience is helpful, but it isn’t required.

How you’ll work with us

You’ll enjoy this role if you like understanding the goal, asking thoughtful questions, and taking ownership of execution. You can learn quickly, bring a recommendation when you spot a problem, and give a concise update on what’s complete, what’s pending, and where a decision is needed.

You’re comfortable working with an independent leader who values initiative, thoughtful problem-solving, and accurate follow-through.

Our core values are Drive, Continuous Improvement, Accountability, and Reputation. We look for these in everyday actions: moving work forward, improving a process, owning a mistake, and treating people professionally.

Schedule, compensation, and benefits

This is currently a full-time, daily in-office position in Columbus, with working hours of 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. A future hybrid arrangement may be considered, but is not guaranteed.

The annual salary range is $55,000–$60,000, based on experience. No standard benefits package is currently offered; potential negotiated benefits can be discussed during the hiring process.

How to apply

Submit your resume and a brief note highlighting your administrative and finance/payroll experience.

Selected candidates will be invited to complete behavioral and cognitive assessments and a short video introducing themselves, discussing two of our core values, and explaining their interest in the role. Later stages include interviews, a practical skills project, a final in-office interview, and reference checks.

If you take pride in accurate work, proactive follow-up, and making an office run better, we’d like to hear from you.
