Position Overview
Seeking a dependable, flexible, and compassionate On-Call Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide backup coverage when regularly scheduled staff members are unavailable.
This is an as-needed position with no guaranteed full-time or part-time hours. The selected candidate will be contacted when coverage is needed due to employee call-outs, absences, or other unexpected staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide reliable coverage for scheduled shifts when regular staff members are unavailable.
Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, routines, and other authorized support needs.
Follow individualized support plans and agency policies.
Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered support.
Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and effective communication.
Respond to requests for shift coverage based on availability.
Qualifications
Dependable, responsible, and punctual.
Flexible and willing to accept available shifts on short notice.
Previous caregiving or direct support experience preferred.
Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care.
Must meet all applicable agency hiring requirements.
Schedule and Employment Type
On-call, as-needed employment.
No guaranteed weekly hours.
Shifts are offered based on staffing needs and the employee’s availability.

Compensation
$22 per hour
