    Primary Purpose of the Position

  • The Patron Services technician provides support for the Patron Services Office and events.
  • This pro-staff position is a collaborative member and displays enthusiasm for the
  • mission, vision, artistic endeavors, programs, and initiatives of SCU
  • Presents
  • Performing Arts Center.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the Patron Services Manager, this dynamic position provides a
  • wide range of customer service and front-of-house support for SCU
  • Presents
  • Performing Arts Center.

    Specific Responsibilities Create a welcoming environment and ensure a quality experience for patrons. . Customer service: Greeting audience members, providing information about

  • the theater, and helping patrons with accessibility needs. Ticket management: Checking tickets and guiding patrons to their seats. Audience management: Maintaining order, settling seating disputes, and
  • ensuring patrons don't use phones or recording equipment during the
  • performance. Emergency management: Being a calming presence and communicating with
  • staff to manage the audience in an emergency. Other tasks: Selling snacks and programs, cleaning up, and leading tours. Other Duties as Assigned.

    Key Qualifications Interest in patron services, (box office, house management, and customer

  • service). Must be able to work evening performance shifts and weekends. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, organizational and
  • communication skills Must present a professional demeanor and proper dress when dealing with
  • clients Experience with the following is a plus; box office, concession sales and
  • customer relations.
