Make a Difference, One Shift at a Time

The On-Call Support Staff position at St. Francis Center is a unique opportunity to bring compassion and stability to people in our community. With flexible hours and a variety of shifts, this role is ideal for people with time, who are seeking supplemental income, and who have a learning mindset and a heart to give back.

As an On-Call Support Staff, you'll have the chance to serve in different settings-supporting outreach efforts, welcoming guests at our Day Center, assisting residents in Permanent Supportive Housing, or helping at a Non-Congregate Shelter used for temporary housing. Each shift offers meaningful connections, whether you're greeting someone picking up their mail, offering safety and calm to a guest in crisis, or supporting individuals as they transition into stable housing.

At SFC, no two days are alike-and every day is an opportunity to be part of a community rooted in dignity, hope, and transformation.

St. Francis Center (SFC), a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado, was established in June 1983. SFC is a refuge for adults who are homeless in the metro Denver area. Our programs and services focus on daytime shelter, social services, health and wellness, housing, employment, and outreach. At the SFC Day Center, "guests" have the opportunity to work with a variety of specialists, depending on their individual needs, which is often the first step toward transformation and ultimately self-sufficiency. At our permanent supportive housing sites, we focus on helping residents remain stable in their housing by providing trauma-informed case management and connecting them to resources in the wider community.
