    Job Description

    On-Campus Adjunct Facu lty for School of Business (Jackson, Mississippi) Belhaven University's School of Business is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach a variety of undergraduate business courses in a traditional, face -to-face classroom environment. Potential teaching areas include finance, marketing, management, sales, business ethics, and other related business disciplines. This is a part -time position. Courses will follow a traditional semester schedule, and adjunct faculty must be available to teach either Monday/Wednesday/Friday and/ or Tuesday/Thursday classes during daytime hours. Teaching assignments will be based on academic qualifications, professional experience, course availability, and departmental needs. Compensation will be based on adjunct pay rates and assigned course load. Responsibilities

    • Teach assigned undergraduate business courses in person.
    • Prepare and deliver engaging, academically rigorous instruction.
    • Integrate a Christian worldview into course content and classroom discussions.
    • Develop course materials and assess student learning in accordance with university expectations.
    • Maintain appropriate communication with students and provide reasonable availability outside scheduled class meetings.
    • Submit grades, attendance records, and other required documentation by established deadlines.
    • Collaborate professionally with School of Business faculty and administration.
    • Support the university's Christian mission and contribute to a positive, student -centered learning environment. Minimum Qualifications
    • The successful candidate must articulate a Christian worldview in ones area of service and must fully support the University Vision, Mission and Statement of Faith. https://www.belhaven.edu/about/mission/
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a related graduate business degree from an accredited institution.
    • At least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline or subject area to be taught, when applicable.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience of one or more business disciplines, including finance, marketing, management, sales, or business ethics.
    • Commitment to teaching in a traditional, face -to-face undergraduate setting.
    • Availability to teach on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday schedule.
    • Ability to support and teach within the university's Christian mission and educational philosophy.
    • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior college -level teaching experience.
    • Relevant professional experience in business or industry.
    • Ability to teach courses across multiple business disciplines.
