Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Specialist to assist with daily shipping, receiving, freight coordination, and customer service. This position involves processing domestic and international shipments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting dock operations.
Responsibilities
Process domestic and international UPS shipments.
Prepare shipping labels, customs paperwork, and tracking information.
Coordinate freight shipments and communicate with carriers.
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming and outgoing shipments.
Assist with dock scheduling and shipping/receiving activities.
Track deliveries and resolve shipping issues.
Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide shipment updates.
Use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word for daily tasks.
Operate printers, copiers, postage machines, and other office equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Experience with UPS shipping, receiving, or logistics.
Knowledge of freight shipping and carrier coordination.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license required (no driving duties).
Preferred: Experience with inventory management, international shipping, customs documentation, or shipping software.
