Onboarding Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to join a growing team in North Charlotte. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources. The position will support employee onboarding and changes while maintaining accurate and confidential employee records. This is a contract to hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes, including pay, position, and schedule updates

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR files

• Enter and update employee information within HR systems

• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed

• Handle sensitive and confidential employee information appropriately

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow them through to completion

• Support additional HR and administrative responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Prior HR, administrative, or data entry experience is a plus

• Strong Excel skills required

• Experience with UKG is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work accurately with employee data and confidential information

• Team-oriented with a willingness to take initiative and learn new responsibilities

• Must be comfortable working hybrid in North Charlotte

Pay Details: $25.00 to $26.44 per hour
