Experienced Bath Installation Subcontractor

Mr. Handyman is looking for an experienced subcontractor or installation crew to install one-day baths, walk-in showers, and tub-to-shower conversions.


We’re a local, family-owned business looking for a dependable installation partner who takes pride in quality work, treats customers with respect, and leaves every home clean.


Scope of Work

• Remove existing tubs, showers, surrounds, and related materials.
  
  
• Install shower bases, tubs, acrylic or solid-surface wall panels, trim, and accessories.
  
  
• Prepare walls and make necessary framing or backing repairs within the approved scope.
  
  
• Install shower doors and complete proper sealing and waterproofing.
  
  
• Coordinate plumbing work with appropriately qualified trades.
  
  
• Protect the customer’s home, haul away debris, and leave the bathroom ready to use.
  
  
• Document progress with photos and communicate unexpected conditions before additional work begins.
  
  
• Complete installations within the agreed schedule, including one-day completion when the scope and site conditions allow.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience installing one-day bath systems and tub-to-shower conversions.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail, especially with measurements, waterproofing, panel fitting, and finish work.
  
  
• Your own tools, reliable transportation, and ability to transport installation materials.
  
  
• General liability insurance and any licenses or coverage required for your scope of work.
  
  
• Professional communication and a respectful approach with homeowners.
  
  
• Photos of completed projects and references.
  
  
• Ability to address installation-related punch-list or callback items.
  
  

Experience with acrylic surrounds, solid-surface shower systems, and shower doors is a strong plus.
