Mr. Handyman is looking for an experienced subcontractor or installation crew to install one-day baths, walk-in showers, and tub-to-shower conversions.
We’re a local, family-owned business looking for a dependable installation partner who takes pride in quality work, treats customers with respect, and leaves every home clean.
Scope of Work
- Remove existing tubs, showers, surrounds, and related materials.
- Install shower bases, tubs, acrylic or solid-surface wall panels, trim, and accessories.
- Prepare walls and make necessary framing or backing repairs within the approved scope.
- Install shower doors and complete proper sealing and waterproofing.
- Coordinate plumbing work with appropriately qualified trades.
- Protect the customer’s home, haul away debris, and leave the bathroom ready to use.
- Document progress with photos and communicate unexpected conditions before additional work begins.
- Complete installations within the agreed schedule, including one-day completion when the scope and site conditions allow.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience installing one-day bath systems and tub-to-shower conversions.
- Strong attention to detail, especially with measurements, waterproofing, panel fitting, and finish work.
- Your own tools, reliable transportation, and ability to transport installation materials.
- General liability insurance and any licenses or coverage required for your scope of work.
- Professional communication and a respectful approach with homeowners.
- Photos of completed projects and references.
- Ability to address installation-related punch-list or callback items.
Experience with acrylic surrounds, solid-surface shower systems, and shower doors is a strong plus.
