OneStream Consolidation Manager

The OneStream Consolidation Manager is responsible for leading the organization''s global financial consolidation, close, and reporting processes within the OneStream platform. This is a newly created role resulting from the growth of the Grant Thornton Advisory multinational platform. The position serves as the primary business owner for the OneStream consolidation application and is responsible for optimizing system functionality, maintaining financial data integrity, supporting external audit requirements, and driving process automation and standardization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Consolidation & Reporting

• Functional business owner for the OneStream platform
• Oversee metadata and account structure maintenance and overall governance standards for financial master data.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes within OneStream.
• Manage ownership structures, legal entity hierarchies, alternate hierarchies, transformation rules, consolidation rules, and reporting dimensions.
• Ensure accurate elimination of intercompany balances and activities
• Ensure accurate foreign currency translation and consolidation adjustments.
• Review and validate consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support preparation of management, statutory, and regulatory reporting packages.
• Support external audits and internal control testing.
• Assist with acquisitions, divestitures, and legal entity restructurings affecting consolidation processes.
• Document and maintain financial consolidation procedures and controls.

Close Process Management

• Coordinate monthly close activities across global finance teams with global accounting team.
• Monitor completion of certification and submission workflows.
• Identify and resolve consolidation exceptions and validation failures.
• Establish and monitor close-related KPIs and service-level expectations.
• Drive reduction in close cycle timelines through automation and process improvements.

Process Improvement & Finance Transformation

• Collaborating with OneStream user base, identify OneStream functional enhancement opportunities and appropriately prioritize
• Lead implementation of new OneStream functionality
• Enable corporate allocations and distributions in OneStream, including developing processes to post associated entries in their ERP
• Participate in broader finance transformation initiatives.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• 2+ years Hands-on OneStream administration and consolidation experience required.
• Experience managing multinational consolidations.
• Experience with ERP integrations (SAP a plus) preferred.
• Functional knowledge and understanding of VB.NET
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, including demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Continuous improvement mindset.

The base salary range for this position is between $104,000 and $140,000. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton's discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
