A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse Supervisor (RN) to provide leadership and clinical support within a surgical services department. This opportunity is ideal for nursing professionals who enjoy balancing patient care responsibilities with staff leadership, operational oversight, and quality improvement initiatives.
Supervise daily operations within the surgical services department
Support and coordinate staffing schedules, assignments, and workflow management
Assist with performance evaluations, staff development, and coaching initiatives
Promote compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
Ensure safe and effective patient care delivery throughout the surgical process
Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Monitor quality outcomes and support patient safety initiatives
Assist with patient flow, care coordination, and transitions across the continuum of care
Participate in operational planning, process improvement, and departmental projects
Provide direct patient care and clinical support as needed
Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Previous operating room nursing experience required
Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience required
Perioperative nursing certification preferred
Strong communication, problem-solving, and team development skills
Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
