Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $1760 per week.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Ability to scrub multiple service lines, including but not limited to, Ortho, ENT, Thoracic, Neuro Spine, Eyes, General, Gyne & Urology.

Required Credentials:
Must have completed a program sponsored by nationally recognized institutional or programmatic accreditation and maintain certification; have completed an appropriate military training program; maintain certification from an accredited program; have been employed as a surgical technologist in a health care facility on or before the effective date of the act (12/27/2020); or have been employed as a surgical technologist at another health care facility two years before the effective date (12/27/2020).
Staff employed to practice surgical technology by the health care facility on or before the effective date of the law (12/27/2020), or who were employed as a surgical technologist at another health care facility two years before the effective date of the law, are grandfathered and therefore not required to have certification.

Special Requests:
Clinician's may be eligible for an earlier start date if they have recent PA fingerprint results and PA Child Abuse Clearance Results (obtained within <5 years).

Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule is Monday-Friday with no set days.
On-call is from 7 pm to 6:30 am (5 days in 12 weeks).
There are no scheduled weekend shifts; weekend shifts are call only.
Must be flexible to stay past 7 pm to finish a case if more than one OR is still running.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
