Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $2120 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Operating Room experience.

• 2 years of Trauma Level 2 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience

Must be proficient in: Neuro, Trauma, ENT, Robotics.
2 years of OR - Level 1 or 2 trauma experience.
2 years of experience with urology, neuro, ortho, robotic, general, podiatry, and ENT cases; da Vinci XI and craniotomy experience is required for trauma.

Required Credentials

An associate degree in a healthcare-related field or graduation from an accredited surgical tech program is required unless nationally certified.

Special Requests

You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.
Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler.
Time-off requests require manager approval.

Unit Details

Surgical cases include urology, neuro, ortho, robotic, general, podiatry, and ENT.
Pre-Op ratio is 1:2.
PACU Phase I ratio is 1:1 or 1:2, based on acuity.
PACU Phase II ratio is 1:2-3.

Shift & Scheduling

Call needs are subject to change as department needs change.
Main OR call schedule will be discussed during the interview.
The call sleep room will be in the Pre-Op/PACU area while it is closed; couches are in the break room.
Call response time is 15 minutes.
Holiday expectation: 2/4 major holidays.

Floating Requirements

CST/FA could float to Central Sterile Processing as needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months
