What challenges will you tackle?

• Verify quality at every stage: incoming materials, purchased components, in-process assemblies, and finished units.
• Keep a daily pulse on quality, close nonconformities, and lead root cause analysis with strong corrective actions.
• Turn data into decisions—analyze KPIs, defects, test results, and process indicators to reveal trends and drive action.
• Build the system: contribute to QA programs, policies, forms, and documentation that scale with growth.
• Make standard work visible and current across assembly lines and production processes.
• Advance Lean and CI: 5S, VSM, Kaizen, and waste reduction that stick.
• Design and sustain standardized processes that improve quality, productivity, lead time, and competitiveness.
• Teach the tools—coach teams on quality, Lean, and CI methods and mindsets.
• Be audit-ready: support and participate in internal and external audits.
• Coordinate improvements across departments to remove friction and elevate flow.
• Align with the corporate Lean team and Marmon partners for reporting and communication.
• Own metrology fundamentals: select, calibrate, and ensure correct use of gauges and QC equipment.
• Influence upstream: set expectations with vendors and contractors, review test protocols, and drive corrective actions.
• Back our customers by supporting quality, compliance, and product requirement discussions.
• Shape a culture where accountability, collaboration, safety, and CI thrive.

Do you bring the right toolkit?

• BS in Industrial Engineering, Quality, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years in QA/Lean/CI/OpEx.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing or production environments.
• Proven QA acumen with practical Lean/CI exposure.
• Hands-on inspection experience across materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Analytical problem-solver who recommends effective CAPA and process improvements.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with quality systems and documentation control.
• Strong communicator and collaborator across teams.
• Self-directed, proactive, and energized by building structure in a growing operation.
• Highly organized; able to prioritize and adapt to shifting demands.
• Deep commitment to health, safety, quality, and operational excellence.

What will make you stand out

• ERP experience (bonus for Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Process mapping with Visio or similar tools.
• Lean/Six Sigma training or certification (e.g., Green Belt).
• Fluency with Kaizen, Kanban, VSM, value-added vs. non-value-added analysis, and 5S.
• Hands-on leadership in Kaizen events and CI projects.
• Experience in HVAC, custom manufacturing, or related production spaces.
• Comfort operating in new/growing environments where processes are evolving.
• Strength in motivating, training, and influencing adoption of new practices.
