Operations Analyst

This is a professional position that manages a wide variety of analytical and administrative duties within the City of Decatur's City Manager's Office (CMO). Serves on the City's management team and leads the performance measurements team. This position is responsible for budget coordination, interacting with the general public and professional level research as well as provides assistance to assigned management staff. May be asked to prepare and present staff reports to the City Manager and City Commission.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Provide coordination assistance in the preparation of the annual budget document including entering data for workbooks and distributing materials to department heads as well as developing and implementing public engagement strategies for the budget process

Manages recruitment for volunteer boards and commissions, including scheduling and coordinating interviews, maintaining membership rosters and records and serves as the organizational point of contact for board inquiries

Coordinates the work of the Performance Measurements Team

Manages city performance measurement visual modules on the public dashboard
