This position will manage and coordinate the execution of event functions (primarily add-ons within larger events), with a goal to provide an overall outstanding attendee/client experience.
It will be common for this position to work in overlapping timelines on multiple events with varying objectives (e.g., small board meetings, single property events, or citywide/multiple venue events [e.g., General Council, Fine Arts Festival].
Client and venue management interaction.
Obtain contractor bids and assist with obtaining projections of function-related expenses.
Oversee events from conception to execution.
Travel required.
QUALIFICATIONS:- High school diploma required.
- Some college education preferred.
- Minimum two years office experience required.
- Meeting planning experience preferred.
- Previous supervision experience preferred.
- PC Skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Data Entry.
- Bookkeeping.
- Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
- Customer service.
- General office skills.
