Context:
Conducting a clinical trial is the most complex and broken, but also the most high‑stakes and capital intensive, problem of our era.
To bring a life-saving medicine from the lab bench to patients, pharma companies spend tens of billions a year for research sites to qualify & screen hundreds of thousands of patients and then to stay in contact with those patients over years. Approximately 80% of clinical trials are delayed due to problems with recruitment and between $600,000 and $8 million is lost for each day a trial is delayed.
This enormous, labor-intensive struggle of screening, recruitment, and retention of patients across thousands of small research sites in every single trial is the foundational bottleneck in clinical trials.

About the Role:
We're looking for an Operations Associate to own the day-to-day success of our clinical research site customers. You'll be the primary point of contact for front-line users, ensuring customers are getting real value out of Alleviate from day one.
This is a foundational hire with real room to grow. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day account motion and has the ambition and slope to grow into owning the full books of business and eventually the team that runs them as we scale.
Own the customer relationship end-to-end — onboarding customers, training users, driving adoption, monitoring account health, and surfacing expansion opportunities
Build deep relationships with front-line users, clinical staff, and executive stakeholders, becoming their go-to resource and trusted partner for long-term outcomes
Capture and synthesize customer feedback and support patterns into clear, actionable input for Product and Engineering
Develop AI-native processes, documentation, and playbooks that define how Alleviate serves customers at scale
Who You Are:
2+ years of experience in a Success, Account Management, Consulting, Investment Banking, or Business Operations role
Able to effectively multitask across multiple accounts while knowing when to dive deep into specific customer needs, maintaining the right balance to deliver both scalable and personalized success.
You thrive in an unstructured start-up environment (lack of process does not frustrate you).
You’re comfortable selling into messy, operational environments and can talk with both executive leadership and front-line clinical staff
Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and distilling intricate details into clear, actionable requirements for both technical and non-technical teams.
