The salary Range for this position is $55-62k

We offer a hybrid workplace with three days onsite in our corporate office-Tuesday through Thursday in Waitsfield, VT.

What youll be doing:

The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting finished good items across all product categories that support our Retail, Foodservice, and Commodity distribution channels. The Demand Planner will incorporate data from various sources - including statistical models, trade promotion software, customer portals, Circana data, and sales history to develop weekly and monthly forecasts. The person in this role will participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and will be responsible for analyzing trends and developing reporting to drive process and operational efficiency.

Reports To: Director, Cheese Product Management & S&OP

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Demand Planning

  • Develop item level forecasting for approximately 300 unique SKU's across multiple levels of aggregation and time horizons

  • Analyze promotions in trade promotion software and coordinate forecasts with sales team

  • Continuous improvement to forecasting techniques and accuracy through leveraging all available data

  • Sales Support and S&OP Process

  • Build, analyze, and provide weekly and monthly sales reporting

  • Support budgeting process for sales volumes and pricing

  • Analyze forecast to provide key insights and inputs into the S&OP process

  • Participate in S&OP meetings and contribute to developing consensus forecasts

  • Act as a liaison between sales and operations regarding product related issues such as distressed product, discontinued, and new products

  • Business Analysis

  • Support data and analysis needs of other internal departments

  • Work on cross functional teams to support and execute strategic initiatives

What we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Statistical Analysis, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 Years relevant experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent collaborative skills with ability to serve as a liaison between multiple departments
  • Experience with demand planning/stat modeling preferred
