    Summary

    • Review production schedule, incoming supply schedule and optimize dock traffic and receipts to maximize output across all areas.
    • Attend and contributes to COS meetings by representing logistics, conjoin and packout teams.
    • Recommend improvements and new areas, processes, procedures to improve flow of material into building.
    • Support of production area tasks may be required as business requires.

    Detailed Description

    • Work under general supervision while providing functional guidance to others.
    • Demonstrate work methods to new and existing employees.
    • Engage with the supervisor, coworkers, and team members to exchange factual information and provide problem-solving explanations.
    • Interact with external contacts (if applicable) to exchange factual information and provide explanations.
    • Provide advice on modification methods and techniques.

    Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

    • Process Improvement: Proficient in the 6S methodology and able to assess existing processes to identify and implement improvements.
    • Communication & Training: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively train and guide new and existing employees in both one-on-one and group settings.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues within the assembly or manufacturing process.
    • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of manufacturing systems and proficiency in standard business software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint - or equivalent) and email applications.
    • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with team members and lead a team toward achieving objectives within strict deadlines.
    • Documentation: Highly organized with the ability to create clear, accurate, and detailed documentation that is easy for all staff to understand and follow.

    Physical Demands

    • Work Environment: This role is in a manufacturing environment with occasional to frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and machinery.

    • Physical Requirements:

    • Periodic light physical effort, including repetitive motions, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.

    • Ability to sit or stand in confined workspaces.

    • Occasional heavy lifting may be required.

    • Visual Demands: Requires extended periods of visual concentration on detailed documents and product assemblies.

    • Safety: All duties must be performed in compliance with local Health and Safety guidelines.

    Typical Experience

    Two to three years of relevant experience

    Typical Education

    High school (Numeracy and Literacy) and additional courses after high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and

    commitment towards further/additional education.
