Summary
Provides Administrative Support to the Operations Management group and other Management as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collects, Reviews, and Analyzes data and prepares reports, charts, budgets, and other presentation materials utilizing various computer programs such as Microsoft office software or other skills and/or specialized Software
- Collects monthly data from Production Managers and prepares reports as directed by the Director of Operations.
- Prepares and distribute reports and other communication on a regular basis
- Maintains Files, databases, and archives of relevant records
- Responds to and or routes routine inquires to from external or internal sources with appropriate correspondence or other messaging
- Schedule and coordinates Meetings, Travel, and other group Activities
- Prepares and Processes Operations Time and Attendance using company Time and Attendance Software
- Assist Management in all areas of Safety and Safety Programs
- Duties and Responsibilities specific to the CA Operation
- Assist CA Production Manager with various monthly/yearly tasks
- Processing of all new hire paperwork
- Liaison for Human Resource and CA Ops staff to include Workmen’s Comp issues and Labor Agreement
- Operational Purchasing of supplies
- Process payables for supplies ordered/coding/scanning
- Maintenance of Various Production Reports and Files
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail. Prepares outgoing mail. Monitor’s postage usage and maintains postage meter. Responsible for meter inspections and maintenance.
Required Skills:
- Education/Experience- HS diploma/GED; or one (1) month related experience and/or training.
- Language Skills- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Mathematical Skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning Ability- Ability to apply understanding to carry out written and/or oral instructions.
- Work Environment-Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level is usually loud. Compensation Range:
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $21.00/Hr. - USD $25.00/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
