As this client continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to lead operations in the Beaumont, Texas market and support the company's continued growth.

About the Role

The HVAC Operations Manager will report directly to the General Manager and oversee the day-to-day operations of the installation and maintenance departments while supporting estimating activities for residential, commercial, and new construction HVAC projects.

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead residential, commercial, and new construction HVAC installation operations.
• Manage the maintenance department, improving technician productivity, customer retention, and maintenance agreement renewals.
• Prepare and oversee HVAC estimates, including project scoping, load calculations, system sizing, pricing, and proposal development.
• Coordinate closely with sales, dispatch, warehouse, purchasing, and field teams to ensure efficient project execution.
• Work with general contractors on plan-and-spec and design-build projects.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop installation and maintenance teams while promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Resolve operational challenges while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential and commercial HVAC experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing HVAC technicians or installation and maintenance teams.
• Strong estimating experience for residential, commercial, and new construction HVAC projects.
• Experience with load calculations, system sizing, project scoping, pricing, and proposal development.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong operational leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing new construction HVAC projects.
• Experience working directly with general contractors.
• Background in plan-and-spec and design-build HVAC projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC installation best practices and service operations.
• Customer-focused leadership style with a high degree of integrity and accountability.
