Operations Manager

Our client is a well-established precision manufacturing company serving industries including aerospace, medical device, semiconductor, biotechnology, and advanced industrial manufacturing.

This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the President. The Operations Manager will lead manufacturing operations, drive process improvements, develop leaders, and help position the company for continued growth.

Location: Billerica, MA

Salary: $145,000 - $185,000 + Bonus Potential

Schedule: Onsite, Monday - Friday

What You'll Do

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and production activities
• Drive operational excellence, efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
• Develop and improve processes, systems, and performance metrics
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and business goals
• Lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean and Six Sigma principles
• Coach and develop supervisors, managers, and production teams
• Support quality initiatives and operational compliance
• Manage resources, budgets, and operational performance

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field
• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience managing production, quality, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Experience driving operational improvements and organizational change

Preferred Experience

• Precision manufacturing environment
• Aerospace, defense, medical device, automotive, or other regulated manufacturing industries
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality systems

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $145,000 - $185,000
