Operations Manager

Payrate: $37.00 - $37.21/hr
 
Summary:
This position provides strategic direction, production management oversight and expertise to partner with business units to drive development of operational improvement by performing as an internal consultant and a continuous improvement management. This position requires excellent communication skills, excellent relationship building and emotional intelligence and self-motivation.
 
Responsibilities:

• Oversee production process and manage production team of 3PL vendor.
• Develop and implement production schedules and plans.
• Ensure production targets are met in terms of quality, quantity, and deadlines.
• Monitor production performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with quality control and supply chain departments for smooth operations.
• Manage resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production area.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
• Monitor production to resolve issues promptly.
• Determine necessary resources, such as workforce and raw materials.
• Enforce health and safety precautions within the production area.
• Report production status and issues to leadership.
• Plan and organize production schedules effectively.
• Assess project and resource requirements for production.

 
Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a production management or in a similar role with 1-3 years of experience.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree with a preference for sector-specific disciplines such as: Business management, supply chain management, and engineering.
• Experience with MS Office including but not limited to, Excel, Word, and Power Point.

 
Necessary Skills:

• Deep knowledge of production management and quality standards.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Knowledge of performance evaluation.
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
• Proficient in AI services, such as Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude.
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Outstanding communication ability and strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong decision-making skills.
• Results-driven approach with confidence and problem-solving capabilities.
• Project management skills and the ability to work efficiently.
• IT and numerical skills, along with effective teamworking abilities.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $37.00 - $37.21/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
