Happymile Logistics is looking for a motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our growing team in Houston, Texas.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily transportation and dispatch operations
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain drivers
- Coordinate drivers, routes, scheduling, and load planning
- Monitor fleet utilization and operational efficiency
- Support DOT/FMCSA compliance and safety initiatives
- Lead and support drivers and operations personnel
- Resolve service issues and support customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- 10-15 years of General Freight, logistics, transportation, or operations experience
- Reefer and Dry Van experience
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with dispatch systems, ELDs, and transportation software preferred
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
