Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations, manage our installation and service teams, and drive company growth. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the field and office, ensuring high-quality installations, efficient scheduling, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Scheduling: Manage dispatchers, service techs, and installers to maximize daily productivity. Hire, train, and mentor field staff to ensure compliance with company standards and safety protocols.
  • Operational Efficiency: Optimize workflows to reduce service turnaround times and improve installation accuracy.
  • Inventory & Logistics: Oversee warehouse inventory, ensuring necessary doors, openers, springs, and hardware are stocked and organized. Manage supply chain and vendor relationships.
  • Quality Assurance & Safety: Perform site visits to ensure jobs meet manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
  • Customer & Sales Support: Act as the escalated point of contact for customer inquiries or complaints, ensuring swift resolution. Review job estimates and sales quotes for accuracy.
  • Financial & Reporting: Review P&L statements, manage budgets, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to increase profitability.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Industry Experience: 3-5+ years of management experience within the garage door or related field service industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of residential/commercial garage door systems, openers, and troubleshooting.
  • Leadership Ability: Proven experience leading field crews and fostering a positive, accountable team environment.
  • Administrative Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and CRM/scheduling software (e.g., Service Fusion).
  • Versatility: Ability to transition seamlessly between technical field support and office administrative duties.
  • Clean driving record and valid license .
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with sales and project management in construction.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
