Now hiring: Operations Manager | Direct Hire Opportunity

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $90,000.00- $95,000.00 per year (based on experience)

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead production and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and repair environment. Operations Manager - Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Business/Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of operations management experience in manufacturing, electronics repair, refurbishment, or a similar production environment.
  • Proven success leading large teams of 30+ employees, including supervisors and production leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of production operations, warehouse management, inventory control, and material flow.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and achieving key operational performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with WMS and ERP systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, reporting).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Operations Manager - Key Responsibilities & Job Duties

  • Lead daily production and warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow from receiving through final shipment.
  • Review production schedules and coordinate resources to meet customer turnaround times and operational goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing KPIs, identifying root causes, and implementing process improvements.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and space utilization to support production efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, 6S practices, ESD requirements, safety regulations, and customer audits.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production and warehouse supervisors while promoting accountability, cross-training, and high-performing teams.
  • Collaborate with planning, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to support new product introductions and operational excellence.
  • Utilize WMS, ERP systems, and operational data to optimize performance, improve inventory flow, and generate business reports.
