Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our social media account management teams and oversee daily operations at our fast-paced marketing agency. This is a hands-on leadership role based in our Winter Park, Florida, office, requiring strong operational judgment and the ability to mentor staff, optimize processes, and ensure consistent excellence across client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

- Directly manage Social Media Account Managers and support staff, setting clear priorities and performance expectations.

- Conduct regular performance assessments, 1:1 coaching, and weekly operations reviews to drive team execution.

- Oversee workload distribution, capacity planning, and escalation processes across multiple client accounts.

- Establish quality-control standards for AI-assisted and client-provided content.

- Develop and refine SOPs, checklists, and reporting workflows to improve operational efficiency.

- Monitor account health, platform compliance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure client retention and growth.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth operations as the team scales.

- Handle sensitive client information and access with high discretion.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on team leadership experience, with direct responsibility for managing staff or client-service owners.

- Proven track record of improving team performance through coaching, accountability, and clear standards.

- Strong proficiency in managing complex workloads, capacity, and operational coverage.

- Deep understanding of social media operations and the ability to evaluate content quality and account performance.

- High level of comfort with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and Google Workspace (specifically Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting).

- Excellent organizational skills, sound professional judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have:

- Experience in a marketing agency or managing multiple high-volume client portfolios.

- Operations leadership experience in industries such as hospitality, retail, fitness, or e-commerce.

- Familiarity with social media analytics, account recovery, and vendor management.

- Exposure to automation tools like Zapier, Make, or Google Apps Script.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, onsite position (5 days/week) in Winter Park, Florida. You will work within a collaborative, close-knit team of four, with opportunities to shape operational strategy as the company grows. Both employee and contractor arrangements will be considered.
