Job Description

Operations Manager — Senior Helpers of the Lake Minnetonka Region

Senior Helpers of the Lake Minnetonka Region is seeking a dynamic, dedicated leader who takes ownership of operations and thrives as a competitive market leader. The Operations Manager drives growth, planning, and day-to-day execution of the agency — balancing bold strategy with the exceptional quality of care our clients depend on.

This is a culture-building role as much as an operations role. You'll set the vision, direction, and support that empowers our teams to deliver outstanding care while scaling the business. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across operations, business development, and healthcare in home care or a closely related industry, along with a track record of building strong teams and inspiring great results.

At Senior Helpers of the Lake Minnetonka Region, our people are our greatest asset — and we're looking for a leader who believes the same.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support care and office teams in daily operations
  • Set and execute business strategy aligned with company goals and mission
  • Build new partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances
  • Drive programs that ensure high-quality client care and efficient use of resources
  • Champion client satisfaction and experience
  • Guide staffing and recruitment to meet business needs
  • Oversee training and development for care and office staff
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Uphold company policies and administrative standards
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping records in partnership with Payroll
  • Oversee and finalize billing and payroll
  • Manage deposits, reimbursements, and related financial processes in coordination with client services
  • Track the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for market and client growth
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 5+ years of equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of operations and people management experience
  • Senior care or caregiving experience or willingness to learn
  • Strong business acumen with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive mindset — you spot issues early and bring solutions, not just problems
  • Strong collaboration skills with your team and community partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general internet tools
  • Comfort learning new software quickly

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with significant bonus earning potential
  • Roth Retirement
  • Health Management Program
  • Paid Time Off
  • Earned Wage Pay
