KeyResponsibilities:
•Leaddailyrailoperationstoachievesafety,service,production,andefficiencytargets,includingzeroaccidents,zeroservicefailures,andrailproductivitygoals.
•Coordinatemorethan200,000railmovesannuallyatAPMTerminalsElizabethandrepresentthecompanywithintheMillenniumMarineRailLLPoperationsteamsupportingmorethan400,000railliftsannually.
•Managerailoperatingbudgetsthrougheffectivelaborordering,workforceplanning,andachievementofman-per-hourperformanceobjectives.
•Ensureaccuracyofoperationalsystems,includingNavisN4/XPSandrailplanningtools,maintainingreal-timevisibilityofloadedanddischargedrailequipment.
•Monitoroperationalperformanceusingreportingtoolsanddashboardstoidentifyconstraints,improveproductivity,andenhancecustomerserviceoutcomes.
•Buildstrongworkingrelationshipswithinternaldepartments,steamshiplines,affiliatedbusinessunits,customers,vendors,truckers,andlaborrepresentatives.
•OverseecompliancewithILAlaboragreements,supportgrievanceprocesses,promotesafeworkpractices,anddevelopahigh-performingoperationsteam.

•Bachelor'sdegreefromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversity,preferablyinOperationsManagement,Logistics,SupplyChainManagement,BusinessAdministration,orarelatedfield.
•Minimumoffiveyearsofterminaloperationsexperience,withexperienceinrail,intermodal,orcontainerterminalenvironmentspreferred.
•StrongknowledgeofTerminalOperatingSystems,particularlyNavisN4/XPS,alongwithrail/intermodalplanningtoolsandgateorappointmentsystemssuchasGOS/TAS.
•Experienceworkinginaunionizedenvironment,includinglaborrelations,contractadministration,andgrievancemanagement,isstronglypreferred.
•Provenabilitytoanalyzeoperationaldataandperformancedashboards,translatinginsightsintoproductivity,service,andoperationalimprovements.
•Validdriver'slicense,abilitytomeetcompanyinsurabilityrequirements,andeligibilitytoobtainorrenewbothTWICandPortAccesscredentials.
•Demonstratedstrengthsinaccountability,agility,collaboration,andoperationalleadershipwithinafast-pacedenvironment.
Salary: $90K - $110K
