Operations Manager

Role: Operations Manager
Location: Wichita, KS
Salary: 130,000 – 150,000 + bonus
Duration: Permanent/Direct Hire

A growing engineering and consulting firm is seeking an experienced leader to oversee operations across two Kansas offices and manage a multidisciplinary team specializing in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and construction materials testing.

This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity with a defined path to Principal-level leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, staffing, and financial performance for two offices

• Oversee geotechnical, environmental, and CMT service lines

• Manage P&L, budgeting, project performance, and resource planning

• Mentor and develop project managers, engineers, geologists, and field staff

• Drive business development and strengthen client relationships

• Ensure excellence in safety, quality, and project delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Background in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, or construction materials testing

• Leadership experience managing teams, operations, or business units

• Strong understanding of consulting operations, project management, and client development

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred
