    Under the direction of the CHW ICCE Business Director, the Operations Manager supports strategic initiatives, operational performance, and care coordination efforts primarily focused on MUSC Children’s and Women’s (CHW) Services across the health system.

    Job Description

    This position partners with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to improve patient access, care coordination, program growth, quality outcomes, and financial performance. The Operations Manager serves as a system-level resource, leading projects, developing performance metrics, analyzing operational data, and implementing initiatives that align with MUSC Health's strategic priorities for Women's Services while supporting selected pediatric programs.

    The role functions independently and collaboratively with physician, nursing, and administrative leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement, enhance patient experience, optimize care delivery, and support sustainable program growth across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

    Additional Job Description

    MBA or MHA preferred. 3 years of experience in healthcare operations, finance, business development or project management. Advanced Microsoft Suite skills. Strong understanding of business & financial principles/standards is required. Self-starter with excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills to collaborate with CHW ICCE Leadership. Experience in project management; ability to facilitate teams, including building cross functional teams. Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong organizational skills. Must be able to communicate with all levels of management and employees, both orally and in writing. Ability to manage time efficiently and be able to work with a limited degree of supervision.
