BCI Operations Associate

SUMMARY: The BCI Operations Associate helps with all aspects of Bear Country, Inc.'s Jellystone Park & Resort, Bear Paw Adventure Park area including Adventure Island, Bear Paw Ropes Course, Ember Lodge, and pool/water operations in accordance with the Company mission statement to 'Make Memories Worth Repeating', including maximization of guest satisfaction, financial performance, and staff development within established quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES of the BCI OPS Associate:

1. Work in all aspects of Bear Paw Adventure Park Operations & Jellystone Park & Resort Operations. Lifeguard certification in case of need at the beach/pools recommended. Ground school Ropes Course certification in case of a need at the Ropes course mandatory.

2. Ability to be flexible

3. Help and train all seasonal and part time team members on different aspects of BCI operations.

4. Oversee and prepare BPAP for Drone Shows: Ensure Beach is prepared for the drone show.

5. Coordinate with other departments on Drone show prep. For example, drone show team, adventure crew, BPAP guest service team.

6. Liasson between BPAP/JSP: Ensure all areas are functioning and coordinating in unison.

7. Oversee Cabana check-in/out process: Ensure cabana's are properly being checked-in/out, properly sold, properly cleaned, monitored, etc.

8. Coordinate/Oversee BPAP & JSP cleanliness: Ensure comfort stations are continually cleaned, trashes near each venue/attraction are removed. Ember Lodge bathrooms checked especially on days of events in the lodge, trash removed from blue bins throughout BPAP (ticketbooth, beach, turf), ensure no floating trash on beach/turf/parking lots, etc. Work with Events Assistant Manager on when events are scheduled to ensure Lodge cleanliness.

9. Assist with Birthday parties/events: Ensure BPAP Guest Service team is prepared, assist if needed

10. Respond to guest inquiries & concerns: Alert MOD when needed.

11. Fill in as MOD when needed.

12. Roller: Assist with any issues with the purchase order system, help/train other team members with Roller and our ticketing system.

13. Help with off-loading of inventory on delivery days.

14. Assist with Jellystone Park & Resort guest check in process.

15. Assist with the Jellystone Park & Resort reservations department by answering phones, making reservations, office work, etc.

16. Works with Grounds/Maintenance departments to establish and maintain applicable preventive maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the Resort including pool, Wibit, and beach assets.

17. Help clean and prepare cabins in the shoulder seasons for guests.

18. Help setup/takedown Adventure Island (floating obstacle course).

19. Help prepare all BCI properties/venues for changing seasons.

20. Help setup/takedown Christmas Carnival of Lights show.

21. Help work Christmas Carnival of Lights show in winter season.

22. Other duties may be assigned.
