OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR FOR LANDSCAPE SERVICE COMPANY

The Operations Supervisor position is an important role within the company, as the incumbent directly assists the Account Manager on a day-to-day basis.
 
Operations Supervisor Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting the Account Manager in coordinating crews daily to ensure that work is done efficiently, safely, and promptly in accordance with company standards.
• Communicating with the Account Manager regarding the status of ongoing jobs.
• Reporting all findings to the Account Manager and following up on incidents to confirm a resolution on time.
• Ensuring crew members have the proper equipment to do their jobs, and that equipment is properly maintained and/or used in accordance with safety regulations.
• Performing "walk-throughs" of client properties.
• Completing daily paperwork & communicating effectively with office staff.
• Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting the company culture, in particular, regarding safety, quality, and customer service.

 
Requirements:

• Must have tropical plant knowledge.
• Positive attitude.
• Strong work ethic and be willing to lead by example.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of the landscaping industry or horticulture is a must.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Must have a clean criminal and driving record.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in maintaining equipment preferred.
• Must be able to coordinate and effectively communicate with crews in a fast-paced environment.
