    Job Description

    The Operations Supervisor is responsible for assisting in all aspects of operations at the hotel, day-to-day staff management and guests.  They should be an ambassador for the brand and the hotel with a primary focus on Housekeeping and Front Desk. Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and maintain relationships with internal and external guests.

    **Please note that public transportation (SEPTA) does not service our property on weekends/specific hours. Other means of reliable transportation will be required for this position**

    Position Details:

    • Employment Type: Full-time (40 Hours/week)
    • Scheduled Hours: Flexibility of mornings and night shifts with occasional overnight shifts as needed.  This will be rotating schedule type position based on needs of the hotel and within departments.  Weekends and Holidays are required often
    • Pay Rate starting at: $20/ hr

    Responsibilities:

    • Serves as a working supervisor, covering shifts and providing hands-on support across all hotel departments based on operational demands.
    • Directly oversees and leads the Front Office team, including daily operations, service standards, staffing, scheduling, coaching, and accountability.
    • Assists with Housekeeping leadership and operations in the absence of the department head or as business demands require, including guestroom/public-area inspections and hands-on support with cleaning rooms, stripping rooms, laundry, and public spaces.
    • Assists with hiring, on boarding, training, coaching, and development of team members while ensuring completion of required company and brand training.
    • Leads daily team huddles, participates in weekly Operations meetings, and coordinates across departments to ensure effective communication and efficient hotel operations.
    • Supports guest satisfaction and service recovery, responding to concerns and assisting with resolutions as needed.
    • Monitors staffing and labor expenses to maintain appropriate operational coverage while meeting budget expectations.
    • Utilizes Quore to manage and communicate maintenance needs, cleanliness concerns, guest requests, and operational follow-up.
    • Participates in brand audits, property inspections, and the Manager on Duty (M.O.D.) program, ensuring compliance with company and brand standards.
    • Promotes a culture of teamwork, accountability, development, and operational excellence.
    • Operates the hotel shuttle within the designated 3–5 mile radius based on guest requests, availability, and operational needs.

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience in hotels specifically with front desk and/or housekeeping required
    • Valid driver's license with no major violations within the last 5 years.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
    • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
    • Attends annually a minimum of one advanced management-training seminar.
    • Attends corporate management sponsored events.
    • Operates in compliance with policies and procedure manuals unless preempted by property or franchise level policies
    • Performs all other duties as required
