Operations Support Technician

FieldBridge is looking for an Operations Support Technician in Shreveport, LA to work for the world's largest oilfield services company. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

Pay/Schedule: $25.50/hr | Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. OT opportunity available. At $25.50/hr and 48 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,326 gross.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Support Technician to support cementing base operations at the Shreveport, LA facility. In this role, you will work behind the scenes to ensure every cementing job is accurately planned, properly documented, and ready to execute before crews head to the well site. Day-to-day responsibilities span the base office, lab, and yard — from reviewing cement job designs and preparing job packages to supporting lab testing, tracking performance data, and following up after jobs to drive continuous improvement. This is a weekday, office-based schedule with no field rotation, making it an excellent entry point into the oil and gas industry with real potential to grow into technical or engineering-track roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify job packages ensuring each cementing job's plan, materials list, and documentation are complete and accurate before crews depart
• Review cement job designs including blend recipes, volumes, and specifications against internal and customer standards and flag issues prior to engineer sign-off
• Support lab testing of cement blends including pumpability and compressive strength testing to verify downhole performance
• Collect and organize key performance indicators including on-time jobs, job quality, safety metrics, and non-productive time for base management reporting
• Support the Design-Execute-Evaluate cycle by comparing actual job outcomes to planned designs and identifying opportunities for improvement

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and data entry
• Ability to follow technical procedures and support engineers and managers on project tasks
• Background in lab technology, QA/QC, chemistry, science, or oilfield operations preferred
• Military veterans with technical or logistics backgrounds encouraged to apply
• Comfortable working in an office, lab, and yard environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
