Position Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Operations Technician to join our team in Lawrence, Kansas. In this role, you will support daily warehouse and operational activities, including material handling, return order processing, basic repairs, packaging, and inventory cycle counts. The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand tools, and willing to learn new technical skills, including the assembly of electrostatic panels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily warehouse and material handling activities.
- Process return orders and assist with product repairs.
- Package materials and products for handling and distribution.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts to support inventory accuracy.
- Use hand tools to complete assigned mechanical and operational tasks.
- Learn and assist with the assembly of electrostatic panels.
- Follow established instructions, procedures, and workplace safety practices.
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient daily operations.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of electronics.
- Experience with troubleshooting or identifying mechanical or technical issues.
- Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
