Operator 1, Machine - Night Shift | $21/hr | Mebane, NC

[About the Role]

Join a dynamic manufacturing team as an Operator 1, Machine on our night shift at our Mebane, NC facility. You'll play a key part in our production processes, contributing to high-quality output and supporting a positive, safe work environment. This is a contract role with opportunities to expand your manufacturing skills and grow within a global industry leader.

[Responsibilities]

• Manually package kits to meet production targets
• Perform thorough cleaning functions to maintain a safe workspace
• Conduct in-process quality checks through testing and inspection
• Accurately pull and feed raw materials onto the production line
• Complete required production paperwork with precision
• Clear routine machine faults and assist with startup, setup, and shutdown activities
• Make basic machine adjustments following established procedures
• Train new team members on standard operating procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping policies
• Provide input for continuous improvement of processes
• Work overtime as required to meet business needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned

[Required Skills and Experience]

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform repetitive motions
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
• Team-oriented with effective communication skills
• Proficient in English; able to read, write, analyze charts, and follow diagrams
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment

[Preferred Skills]

• 5 years of manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Experience training team members
