Job Summary: Operator 1, Warehouse Operations - El Paso, TX
About the Role
Join a fast-paced, collaborative warehouse team as Operator 1, Warehouse Operations. In this hands-on role, you'll leverage your equipment operation skills to move materials and goods within our facility, supporting critical supply chain functions. This contract position offers consistent hours, overtime opportunities, and the chance to build foundational skills for a long-term career in logistics and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, cranes, conveyors, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials and finished products within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory as needed
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
- Perform general warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, staging, and stacking products
- Conduct routine physical activities such as lifting up to 50+ lbs, walking, standing, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive hand motions
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including use of steel-toed shoes and compliance with company policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Required Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED (verification required)
- Forklift experience with appropriate certification or ability to obtain
- 0-1 year warehouse, logistics, or production experience (on-the-job training provided)
- Competency in basic math, English reading and writing, and general computer skills
- Ability to work in a metrics-driven, team-oriented environment
- Physical ability to perform job duties in varying warehouse conditions (hot/cold, moderate to loud noise)
- Willingness to work 4th shift: Thursday/Friday (2:30PM-11:00PM), Saturday/Sunday (6:00AM-6:30PM), and attend New Hire Orientation as scheduled
Preferred Skills
- Experience maintaining warehouse records and inventory tracking
- Exposure to material handling, manufacturing, or logistics processes
