Job Summary

The role moves materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within a plant, office, or warehouse using forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks. The person completes routine tasks within clearly defined SOPs and quality guidelines, under general to limited supervision.

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift, plus conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks, to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products
• Restack pallets
• Operate a shrink wrap machine
• Perform light inventory work
• Keep records as needed
• Complete routine tasks by following prescribed steps and SOPs
• Follow quality guidelines
• Maintain required licenses, training, and certifications

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of previous work experience driving a stand-up forklift (no exceptions)
• Basic skills training in an operational process area, such as material handling and management, logistics, or manufacturing production

Eligibility and Qualifications

• 10-panel drug screen required, to be completed within 48 hours of accepting the job offer
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; the job may involve lifting or moving over 50 lbs
• Able to handle regular walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand and wrist motion
• Able to work around moving mechanical parts, vibration, extreme weather, and occasionally high places and fumes or airborne particles
• Comfortable working in a hot environment in summer (no AC), a cold one in winter (limited heating), and a moderate to loud noise level
