Job Purpose This position operates machine shop & press equipment to make gear motors & components and subassemblies. This position is also responsible to read prints & use quality measurement gauges. General Responsibilities

Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: 1+ year at Tech School for machine shop operations Experience Required: 3+ months experience in manufacturing or factory environment Preferred: 1+ years experience in manufacturing or factory environment Special Knowledge & Skills Required: Mechanical ability and desire to operate equipment Reading and math skills sufficient to operate equipment Equipment troubleshooting skills Preferred: Able to read prints, operate different types of gauging and operate manual machine shop equipment Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and basic office tools and equipment Must have good management skills, be highly motivated to problem solve, detail oriented, and able to establish priorities. Strong organizational skills, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, customer service focus, technical capacity, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
