Description

Summary:

  • Location: Menlo Park, CA
  • Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
  • Timings: 4 AM to 2:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the production of high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
  • Perform detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery per documented procedures.
  • Engage in electronic assembly, casting/coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging.
  • Clean tools and equipment per documented procedures and dispose of hazardous waste material in designated areas.
  • Assemble medical devices and related components, possibly in a controlled cleanroom environment.
  • Use microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and operate various equipment.
  • Perform routine assignments according to specified and standardized procedures with close supervision.
  • Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies.
  • Perform tests on units using computerized test equipment and repair devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools.
  • Package devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and address quality issues.
  • Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices and equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes.
  • Notify supervisor or lead of the need to replenish supplies/materials and any production difficulties.
  • Cooperate in maintaining a clean, sanitary work environment throughout the building.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow English written procedures at a 6th-grade level.
  • Basic math skills at a 6th-grade level.
  • Ability to speak, follow verbal instructions, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
  • Good dexterity to handle and maneuver small components and parts.
  • Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs.
  • Capability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma required with 2 years of experience.
